since we can upgrade the mine depth, i think jackhammer should be changed to a cone shape because as the mines become so big, it might start causing lag for the entire server. it also gives a good reason to upgrade the height size, since when you level up jackhammer, the cone gets bigger and it can mine through and hit bedrock, thus losing potential blocks mined.
